Hi guys,

Quick question... does anyone know if there's a cap or plug available for FE intake manifolds with oil filler tube provision? I'd like to replace the IMHO hideous oil fill tube with a more inconspicuous cap or plug. I've thought about machining my own with an O-Ring or something but maybe someone else has had this thought as well?? Any info or input appreciated!

thx, J

Strange, the 67-70 Mustang FE engine had the oil filler cap in the LH valve cover. What intake do you have?

Use a cup type freeze plug driven into the intake. Just be sure you have an opening in your valve covers to use as the oil fill. My 427 has the "baldy" chrome pentroof valve covers so I have to use the fill tube but personally I like how it looks.
