When I got my '67, the drivers floor board was actually a street sign. I figured it was a leaky cowl. After removing the fenders, I discovered I was right. The seem sealer they had feeled up the drain with was causing the cowl to feel up with water and overflow in the floor. When I tried to remove the rear seat belts, the bolts will not come out. After cleaning the undercarriage this weekend, I now know why. The exhaust hangers are welded to them.

speaking of safety glasses. My wife almost had to take me to the er. I've already had to goto the eye doctor once during this project. I'm being a good boy, respirator (Most of the time) safety glasses, and hearing protectors. But I keep haveing stuff fly up under the glasses. She was finally able to get the piece out yesterday.

move to goggles. You'll feel silly at first...but it's better safety wise. In art school I used to be a sculptor and the wire brush got a 1/4 in piece of metal brush from my eye. The goggles may get foggy sometimes, but they work better then glasses
