i recently picked up a nice 67 convert project car.
car has been off the road since the early 90's .
i received quite a bit of NOS parts with the car.
Two pieces were a 67-68 hood moulding and 67-68 rocker moulding. still in original dirty paper ford wrapping. problem is in some spots where the paper ripped away and the moulding was exposed-the mouldings have light marking/corrosion starting....
my question is can those mouldings be cleaned up at all-or will they clean up?
what is the best thing to use?
thanks

I've had some success using 2000 grit paper normally used for color sanding. It will generally remove the whitish stain without damaging the anodized surface. You might even experiment w/1500 grit. In either case use it wet, not dry.
