I want to convert my 66 coupe to pony int., what exactly is the "quarter trim upholstery"..im assuming it goes over the panels in the back, and how do you put it on... also does anyone know where to find either repro woodgrain steering wheels (not the grant ones they sell in all the catalogs) or a quality rebuilder that sells rebuilt ones. THANKS

The quarter trim upholstery is just that, upholstery that covers the metal rear quarter trim on either side of the back seat.

I found my Deluxe steering wheel on Ebay after months of trying to get one at a decent price. No one reproduces this item (why I don't know.) Mine needs to be restored, but will do for now. Expect to pay $400 to $600 for a restored wheel. Check this web page out, they have pony interior conversion kits.

The quarter panel upholstery is glued to and covers the existing metal panel, plus adds the little chrome cap at the end of the windlace. It is available from most Mustang vendors.

i think i just posted this last week. the rear interior quarters for a deluxe interior coupe are NOTTTTT!!!!!!!! the same as the standard interior. The deluxe rear interior quarters are made of plastic like the convertible rear quarters and do not have the area at the top front where the pinch on windlace goes under. Instead of this, a chrome finisher piece is used.
Think about how hard it would be to cover that little area with vinyl without some ugly wrinkles in the vinyl.
