I have recently purchased a 1966 Mustang Conv. and I was wondering what the difference is between the regular interior and the " Pony " interior. Could someone enlighten me on this I would greatly appreciate it.
Door panels and interior handles differ. The shaft the door handle fits on is longer. The seat foam differs, and wood grain is used where standard trim would be camera case black. The seat upholstery is unique (running horse), the side kick panels are carpeted about half way up and are finished with a stainless trim piece. The doors are also fitted with a courtesy light at the inside bottom rear.

I have a 67 coupe that I restored about 15 years ago. A previous owner had put in a nice 302 and the car was decent machanically.
