I think I found a solution to the finicky brake light switch problem I’ve had and seen others post here. A few months back my dad and I upgraded the brakes on his ‘68 coupe to power disc. We went through countless power brake switches trying to get them to work properly and nothing worked quite right. They all required a ton of pressure to work. Well we finally found a switch that works great.

It’s the motorcraft SW2239. I think it’s from a mid 80’s 5.0 mustang. We installed it today and rigged a wiring harness for it and voila! Brakes now come on with a tap of the pedal.
