Well I have a heater, but no A/C. Id like to be able to roll the windows up when I'm on the freeway, but it's just to damn hot.

Is there away to use the cowl for cooling? I know it runs through the heater, but I obviously don't want to heat the air.

You should have a vent on the drivers side under the dash, open it. And, with the heater off, just open the
door on the front of the heater box. Air comes in the cowl, down thru the openings on both sides, and
presto, you're cooler.

Others have pointed out the ways to coolness.

Coolant still flows through the heater core though and you may get leakage into the cockpit. You can either bypass to heater during the summer or put a valve in the heater line to cut of the flow.
