Every now and then we get lucky with a problem. In my case, my newly stroked motor was cutting out over 4000 RPM. I was thinking of all the things that could have gone wrong with the rebuild, but the rebuilder told me over the phone the symptoms sounded fuel related. So I pulled off the secondary bowl, not expecting to see anything obvious. Lo and behold, one of the jets was lying on the bottom. Needless to say, reinstalling it fixed the problem as well as the steady speed surging I was also fighting.

Gotta say, the stroker is awesome!
