A code is Atlanta, H codes are all 351, I believe. It's possible that this plate is from a 19*7*6 vehicle....

The cars manufactured south of the border had some odd S/Ns. I don't recall all the partculars (or where I saw it /forums/images/icons/frown.gif); one of the guru's of Mustang trivia will hopefilly know the link and information.

Don't think so... none of the decoders at the South of the Border Mustang Registry appear to fit the data plate.

Given GT350Clone's answer, I hope that's not the VIN on the title or fender apron. If it is, your friend should seriously consider asking the seller to take the car back for a full refund. I can't think of any reason for a Mustang to have a Fairlane VIN except nefarious ones. It's not like the door was swapped and the old Mustang data plate was never removed.
