Since I just got a breather...I looked here to see what was there and noticed that posts are set to expire in 365 days from when they're made....
hmmmm....does that mean the search engine can't go back in time for more than one year? If so, is that enough? Is this feature adjustable?...

Do I understand correctly??

whew!

Hopefully it can be adjusted. Even though the search on the old system was not as good as it could have been, some of the old posts were very informative.
Maybe some kind of archive

i posted a similar message this morning, someone said it could be adjusted.

however, it really shouldnt even affect us until day 400 or so, cuz with all the picture-practice posts and status ascension posts, i figure there'll be lots and lots of unwanted "fluff" in this first month or so.

It's adjusted. Now they never expire.

This will be a good test of the database and server, hehe.
