Need to order some AN fittings for my hydroboost and power steering. The Teflon lined steel braid has about the same working and burst ratings as power steering hose, but I'm wondering about the hose ends? Are the aluminum fittings robust enough to contain the working pressures of the power steering? Or should I just stick with the bulky looking PS hose and fittings?

I used steel fittings on the pressure side and aluminum on the return side for my rack and pinion setup. I have a couple thousand miles on it since, and no issues.

I bought my power steering fittings and hose from Mark at Breeze. I think the fittings are aluminum, but I believe they're rated for more than the power steering pressures anyway. Lots of guys have bought his parts for steering for their cobras.

I have some Aeroquipt hose and fittings in my leftover stack-o-stuff, I may use that.
