If I recall correctly, the Ford spec for F-type ATF is M2C33. For the power steering it's not the same Ford spec but I think it's safe to use F-type in there. F-type is suitable for srew-type compressors not unlike the power steering pump.
I adhered to the VMF collective wisdom. For my '70, I decided to use type F tranny fluid for my power steering fluid.
