A friend wants to convert his '65 to power steering. His car is originally a V8 but now has the I6 250cid engine and C4 trans. I have a complete power steering setup from a '72 Comet with I6 250 and C4. Will this fit into his '65 Mustang? What modifications are needed?

And also, what's a fair price for this setup? Everything is there including the steering gear box and pump. The hoses need to be replaced, though.

I thought about something similar (have a system from a 74 Maverick. The Maverick/Comets are slightly narrower framed than the early Mustang,therefore steering system is not quite as wide (not sure how it would affect). Also the steering box is the short shaft style and could not easily be used with a 65/66 column. The box/pitman arm is also the larger sectore shaft size, so fitting a stock 65/66 pitman arm to it is out of the question (smaller sector shaft size)
