Hi all,
I was wondering if there's a difference between a six cylinder and eight cylinder power steering pump, internally, for a '66? Would a six'er pump work on a V8 car, assuming correct bracketry and all?
Thanks,

Take a look at this site below. A 6/8 list diff. pumps. Also diff between ac or non.

In some cases the pump difference is the angle of the hose fitting coming off the back. Basic pump guts the same, pulley sizes change with diff engines.

Well, I'm confused. I bought a bracket for a '68 200 CID 6, to install on my '66 200 CID. Does that mean I can use the '67-'69 Mustang/Fairlane pumps?

The 6 cyl pump should work fine for you.
Is your pulley for a 6 or V8?
I have a V8 pulley and could use one for
a 6, interested in trading? If so leave me a PT.
