Here are three photos of the inner fender trim, outside mirror, and antenna installation we did this week. The mirror still has to come off and be painted but it still looks good in primer. If the rain holds off tomorrow, I'll pull the antenna wiring into the interior and put the trunk wall back in place.

I wanted nonstock mirrors and so bought a Shelby bullet mirror a couple of years ago. It fell apart as I was getting ready to install it and decided to go with something else. I then bought a pair of 1979 mirrors off eBay and had them all ready to go on. The problem is they have to be mounted further down on the door and I wasn't really thrilled about that. I really wanted the 1969-70 sports mirrors but couldn't justify the $125 per mirror cost. Then a good friend was able to get them for me in exchange for doing a technical installation article for Mustang Monthly. Now I just have to get them painted and I'll be all set. I would paint them myself, but I don't have the equipment right now. :(

I think it looks great!! Hoping to here some tunes shortly. ::I hope my 65 fastback gt comes out as nice. ::
