Well, this weekend was a pretty good one. Stripped the Passenger side to the inner fender. Drilled Shelby mod, removed old shock tower support (I have the export brace). Removed about 30 lbs of crud from the front suspension, repainted inner fender, firewall and suspension compoenents. Reinstalled suspension, fender etc. Resprayed the dashboard. Now I can start stuffing things back in. SWMBO is starting to comment on how nice the car looks.

No pre-show cruise for me. We are headed to a wedding on Saturday, April 21. Since our families look for any excuse to party, there is no way I am getting up any earlier that Sunday to meet you guys for the cruise.

I suspect we will be staying at my in-laws on Sat evening, so the drive would be a little shorter. Hmmm, Where are you guys meeting?

I cut the existing shock tower support off with a drill, cold chisel and a BFH. Export brace will go in under the shock brackets.
