I'm installing an AC drain hose on a 1964 mustang. The hose seems to be to long, Do I need to cut it to size or should I loop it?

don't loop it- it'll hold water and leak inside the car! It should protrude out the bottom of the car a few inches- if it's too long I'd just trim it. Make sure it's long enough that it won't get 'bumped' back up through the floor if you accidentally hit anything.

The "molded" end goes into the AC unit, hence the o-ring to stop dripping inside vehicle. You want as straight a shot as you can with limited bends, for proper draining and a good amount hanging outside vehicle, as gt35r said, to stop from coiling back up inside. Avoid the urge to put a clamp on it, as it could pull out from the unit as the car flexes.
