What are others using to protect the glass window in their sandblasting cabinets. Without something over our glass it quickly becomes opaque.
We have tried frost shields but can't get them anymore. Mylar sheets but they were very $$$$$
Today i wrapped the window with shrink wrap and then clear taped the inside. That was more work than some others in the shop will do.
We need something easy.......

I went to Home Cheapo and bought some cheap plexiglass. I cut it to size with a razor knife and attached it with some of the double stick tape that is used for the shrinkwrap weatherstripping.

Believe it or not, the roll of tape only cost 1 penny!!!

I've used the clear storm window film (Not the winterizing shrink stuff). It's about 2mill thick, comes in a roll with protective paper backer and is usually sold buy the foot.

Very easy to cut to size and tape in place with masking tape

Under the glass on my bead blast cabinet is a thin plastic film. A roll of it came with the cabinet, so when I run out I'll just head to the local supplier and grab another roll.
