Putting GT lights on a 68 and wanted to check on the wiring. The switch has three wires coming off of it. Clearly the gray on goes to the lights. Blue I'm assuming is power and the black is ground?? I'm not going to wire it the way they suggested. Can someone just verify I'm correct, please

Nope, no ground. The lights ground to the chassis.

Why not just buy the OEM style under-dash wiring harness? Makes installation and proper function a breeze.

One wire is power "in" from the circuit breaker.
One wire is power "out" to the fog lamps.
One wire is power "out" to the headlight switch - tail lamp circuit.

I added them to my car. Just bought the harness and followed the electrical assembly manual. Was pretty easy to install them.

When working on these cars you really need the assembly manuals. They are worth the price. Here is a clip for the Fog lights.
