There was a question in the back regarding bushing for the idler arm being serated..... this would be for power steering

Does that really make a difference in the centering of the steering? Where could I find these serated bushing?

If you get hold of a "correct" idler arm assembly, you'll notice it has a "tight" spot in the very center of travel. It feels like a screwup but it is the way Ford designed them and has a small effect on steering wheel centering. Over the years our cars wear out this tight spot and feel loose. I believe NPD (among others) carries a close to correct repro.
