I ordered a Pitman Arm for my 71 Mustang from NPD and noticed it was supplied by Rareparts Inc. Does any one know anything about them and whether this is a quality part. I considered buying one from NAPA, but just don't want to take any chances with the steering on my car. I have read about some inferior suspension parts on other cars, etc.

Thanks

To put your mind at ease, most of their stuff is OK.
That said, they were the "court of last resort" when I was
at Global West. Mostly by default, because NOBODY else
had the part. (Moog, TRW, MN, etc)

True- Rare Parts really tries to live up to their name. IIRC, they were the only source for for certain Mustang steering parts for years, maybe they still are.
