I have a '65 convertible that is presently white. My question is could this be the original color offer on cars built in April of 1965? I have been told that Wimbleton White was only a '641/2 color. I would appreciate any help you could give me. You see my door tag is missing and I am researching the need information to recreate it.

Thanks
Rick

Wimbldon white was offered on 64 1/2 through 71 models. My references just list white for the 72s and 73s. To check for a possible color change look under the carpet or under the back seat. Often when people paint cars they don't go to the trouble of removing the interior.
