I have a 68 coupe with the deluxe interior option but the original seats have been replaced with non mustang seats. Except for the upholstery and seat buttons, is there any difference between standard and deluxe seats for 68? My NPD catalog shows the replacement seat pad foam to be the same for standard and deluxe seats so I'm wondering if they have the same frames underneath the upholstery. I'm hoping they are the same which will make it easier to find some at a car swap meet. Also is there any part numbers on a 68 coupe rear seat frame once the upholstery is removed? The rear seat fits well but was reupholstered to match the front non mustang seats and I wanted to determine if it is the correct rear seat for a 68 coupe.

OEM seats have small metal tags, usually two, hog ringed to the seat frame. One had part number, the other a date. A pair from a 68 seat I stripped below.

(I think these were from a front bench but don't recall)
