I have read/heard many comments about repro parts not fitting correctly, bolt holes not lining up, etc.

I am getting ready to start replacing sheet metal and wanted to eliminate as many headaches as possible (I am sure I will have plenty when I start doing the work). I would like people's input as to where to buy/which manu to use, places to AVOID, your positive experiences, and your bad experiences. I am going to start with the cowl repair and floor pans (I will not be needing full pan replacements....just the partials).

Thanks for you time and input.

Although I have not had to buy any sheet metal, I have bought a lot of other parts. I typically get most of my stuff from NPD. I have never had a problem with them and any time I wanted to return something they have been great. I have also had a good experienceused with CJ Pony, just not a lot of purchases with them.

Iv'e "heard", that body panels (any of them) don't fit worth a crap

I too use NPD, for most of my stuff.

Or good used, or NOS, if I can find it OR afford it.

My 2 cents.
