Are there differences between 67 coupe, convertible or fastback doors? Any changes between 67 and 68?

The doors in '67 all same just diff glass for each. But between '67/68, not sure if a running change but the inside part of door to where you bolt on arm rest in different. In '67 as folks know it had short arm rest so holes drilled to match that. However in '68 it used longer arm rest so holes farther apart. I think some might have both sets, not sure. I've played with both but don't remeber. You might be able to rework a door but don't recall if the area drilled also has a raise area for hole. But that's it.

Glass is different on fastback. Coupe and vert door glass same. 68 basic door shell has small changes from 67.

Coupe and vert door glass same.QUOTE]
A window frame assembly between a coupe & a convert is different. The top rear edge on a coupe is almost square while a convert has a slant to it. The bare glass w/o frame maybe same but the window frame (the way most would buy a used door glass) is diff between the two.

The other difference is standard or deluxe interior, and stereo or not. With the deluxe, there is a large hole for the light, along with smaller square holes that accept snap in plastic expanding nuts for the grille screws. Also there would the a hole for the wiring harness. If the deluxe also is combined with stereo door speakers, there is an extra cutout for the speaker. Same hole for wiring harness, but a different harness part number. An item of discussion has been a standard interior with the stereo option. Obviously there would be a hole for the speaker and wire harness. But did the full length deluxe grille get installed and if so, did the light hole get punched and installed? Bottom line is there are a few variations of the doors. John
