I've read that the late 80's Mustang master cylinder works well on a front disc swap. Is anyone using one and if so, any problems/comments. TIA.

I have an '84 Mustang SVO MC with no adjustable prop valve on a car with 4whl discs (Versailles). I got the prop valve from the donor car. The car stops very well.
I also have a power booster from an '86 Mustang 4cyl car in it too. I wanted to make sure SWMBO would not need to worry about stopping.

Thanks. I was wondering about the aluminum/plastic versions. I want to get my car GOING this year. That's a good tip on the booster! I wasn't planning on power assit...but if I do, I'll know what will work.

I have this master cylinder.

Check www.ultrastang.com for the alumnium Lincoln option.

..

The 84 SVO one, looks like a more traditional master cylinder.
I haven't had any issues with it, but I think it was $90.
