To continue my thread of dumb question....

Which way do I turn the nut/screw on top of the needle/seat to raise the float level, and which way to lower the float level?? I cant seem to get it to flow out of the sightplug no matter how far I go each direction. . I know to adjust tell the fuel barely drips out. But is there anything else I should know about adjusting float? Like why is gas leaking back out of the needle and seat nut/screw and not the sight plug?!?!

Ooops. Forgot... I have read to just take off the screw completely to adjust the nut for the float level. But, Fuel will just shoot out of the top if the screw is not on. Is that a sign of to high a float level?? Or a sign to buy an edelbrock? Thanks.

There is a screw in the side of the bowl that you need to remove when adjusting the float level. As the gas starts to drip out of the side of the carb you are done. If it is pouring out the side then the float is set to high.
