Both NPD and MU show 1965 Deluxe and GT and 1966 with same bezel. They both also show the other, full chrome loop type as standard 66.

The gauge cluster for a 65 GT/Deluxe Interior car is different from a 66 in the fact that the 65 uses an inductive loop ammeter. The 66 ammeter is different. Other than that, the clusters are basically identical.

I think the confusion is on the cluster bezel. Suppliers show two for 66. One looks just like 65 Deluxe and GT.

With regards to the 5 gauge cluster bezel, you've got 3 options:

1) 65/66 GT bezel that has the eyebrow and a camera-case finish
2) 65/66 Deluxe interior bezel that has the eyebrow and a woodgrain finish
3) Standard 66 interior bezel that has the ring all the way around the perimeter.

Thanks guys, that is what I needed to know. Basically, wanted to know if there was any difference in the guages. Knowing the Amp guage is diff. will really help. I will use a cluster from a 65 Deluxe interior car then. thx !
