Im transferring my window and all the hardware into my new repro doors. After i got it all in i noticed that there is a slight gap between the door and the vent window. Is there supposed to be a gasket or weatherstrip here? Or should i just go "gently tap" it till they meet.... on a 66 coupe

Don't know about the 66, but if I understand you correctly... my 68 has a weatherstrip there.

If I understand you then the answer is No...there is no gasket between the door and the vent window. The chrome vent window butts up against the door.
