I'm installing a quick steer sutup and ball bearing idler arm mount. I had to move the steering box around
a bit to get the puller on the pitman arm, i lost track of the proper orientation for the pitman arm. It
seems that the spline for the pitman arm is such that the pitman will go on only one way? My problem is
at wheel lock the new pitman arm is taking up the same space as my header! It's not hitting at the end of the pitman arm, i'm thinking that I got something out of wack, the old pitman arm will hit now also.

I think once i get the car of the jack stands the the problem will go away. If not i'll just weld on a steering
stop. The bearing kit was purchased at www.deltabaymustang.com/. The owner races a 65' Fastback,
he's a good source for info, and parts. I hope i like the setup as much as you do, can't wait to try it.

The brakes are the 12" SSBC HD kit, the caliper are PBR same as the late model cobra. I lowered the control
arms with the pro-motorsport negative wedge kit, which drops the upper arm about 2 inches. The goal is
to do some open track stuff, maybe some autocross also. I'm just trying to get the car ready. Looks like
you have done some racing already? I've tried a couple of shifter kart schools, if it's half as much fun as that, i'll have a blast.
