I have 2 small pinholes on top of radiator. Can I solder those using the same flux and solder I use for sweating on copper fittings? Will a propane torch be too hot? Can you use a soldering iron? What about one of those micro torches? I know there is a lot of solder in a radiator and I am affraid to melt any inadvertantly. I also assume you would have to empty out coolant. Any advice greatly appreciated. How about using epoxy putty?

I've done it with the same solder and a propane torch. make sure to clean the area and don't apply any more heat than nessesary. I get it just to where it wets in and stop and then hit it a few more times the same way. It's worked for me, don't know how anybody else does it.

i do it the same way as sidewinder, acid core solder and a torch. remember not to dilly
dally with the torch or you'll cause more problems than you fix.
