I'm about to install AC in my 1966 coupe. NPD shows grommets for the holes drilled in the radiator support for the condenser tubes. I can't find any pics online. Classic Auto Air/CJ Pony Parts doesn't make any mention of using them. Does anyone on this forum have them installed? Is there a good reason to do so?
This stuff works great where a rubber grommet won't work. I have no idea what it is called. I've had a package of a dozen 12 inch sticks for years. I colored it black in my A/C install.

What in the world is it?
Where do you get it?
It looks like a notched plastic strip, but must be malleable so that it seals, but is rigid enough to keep its shape?
