Anyone care to guess what the correct bulb is that illuminates the clock on a '65 Rally-Pac. I thought it was an 1895, however, after installation the light is too dim. Today I pick up a catalog from Texas Mustang Parts and it lists an 1816. Can anyone confirm that this is correct? Thanks.

G-man.

Try the 1816. Napa sells them. i populated my dashlamps with them, and they look great. I plan on using the 1816 on my rallypac, when tachman gets done with it.

I tried the 1816 but found it too long to fit due to a blue plastic diffuser inside the clock. The diffuser was crystalized (from heat) so I removed it. Now I use an 1895, same as the tach. This does a good job.
