Charles, You have a point and I agree. However, when I read the original post in the collapsed mode, it showed 5 views and 0 replys. I read the post and immediately left a response because I knew the answer. It was not until after I left the reply the I discovered that there were already 4 other repsonses. If I had know that, I would not have answered. Perhaps it's part of my learning curve on using the forum. However, with all the expertise out there, I do get excited when I get the chance to answer a question.

Thanks...they are 14 x 7 Magnum 500s..the tires are 215 70's...not too big and not too small..no clearance problems either. I found the wheels under someone house..they had been sitting there since 1969...when they told me to come look at them I was expecting some old rusted wheels..they still had the bia ply tires on them. They took the wheels off of their Mustang in 1969 and put snow tires on..they wrecked the car and forgot the other wheels were even under the house. The tires (which I replaced) were G70 14's they still had the little rubber nipples on them and only had a few miles on them...no dry rot or anything.. the wheels had no rust. They looked brand new. Amazing.. I got the set for $100!

Having other people back up my comments also provides me confidence that I have given the right answer. It works both ways: for the questioner and the answerer.

If I am the only one to answer the post, and if I am a little unsure, then I would really appreciate others backing me up!

People shouldn't post the same answers as has already been posted ... oh, wait, that's already been said, huh? *LOL*

Just kidding ... I STRONGLY agree. It's hard enough getting through all the posts anymore ... no need for repetition ... just like this post *LOL*.
