Hello All:
Background:

My '66 GT vert was originally a single exhaust 'C' coder.
The PO who did the conversion to dual exhaust didn't change
the rear brake hose and had custom bent exhaust pipes. When
I replaced the entire exhaust system with a stock kit, the
rear brake hose was VERY close to the left pipe. I fabricated a little wire/spring setup to keep it away from the hot pipe.

Present:

I'm about to replace the ENTIRE brake system (SSBC disk brakes for the front). I've purchased the rear brake hose designed for a dual exhaust system and a complete set of steel lines (for disk brakes).

My Question:

Does the front to rear steel line mount in the same bracket which
is welded to the left side of the floor pan at the rear of
the drive shaft tunnel? NPD sells a little bracket which is
designed for a dual exhaust conversion. I don't know if I
will need this item.

you do have to move the bracket.
this topic just came up, a search would have given you the answer

No such thing as an original C-Code GT. Only A and K codes. All GT's came with dual exhaust.

Clarification: This car was 'made into' a GT by the PO. It left the factory as a 289/2V with single exhaust (C-Code).
