Hello,

I've used the search function, consulted the manual and tried local parts stores - no luck.

I have a 1970 Mustang H code with the 351C, 9 in. rear end and power front disc/rear drums. I measured the shoes and they are 2" wide and the drums are 10 X 2.

I can't seem to find all the correct part numbers (at one place) for rear drums, brake shoes and wheel cylinders. It looks like I need the 29/32 wheel cylinders, but would like confirmation in that.

Thanks for any help with identifying the correct part #'s.

Well---First off, If you have 2" shoes, and 2" Drums (Actual braking surface) you have a problem.

The 2" (shoes) rear drums have a braking surface of 2 7/16"
The 1 3/4" (Shoes) rear drums have a 2" braking surface.

Do not put 2" shoes in a 1 3/4" drum--Unless you have a death wish.

Which have you got? Cylinder/shoes/drums have different numbers.

Hardware is all same, can't go wrong there.

We carry it all.

Thanks Dan.

The shoes are exactly 2". The drums measure 2 1/4" braking surface. I'm guessing someone mixed and matched parts over time.
