Has anyone used a rear end from a 94-95 Mustang in their Classic?????????

IIRC, it's been discussed before and the SN-95 rear is way too wide, so are the Fox and T-bird rears.

They are one inch wider on each side for a 65-66. Perfect for a 67-68.

All you need to do is cut off the old mounts and weld on new leaf spring mounts.

Hot Rodders have been doing this for 80 years. The spring mounts can be bought from Summit or your local Chrysler dealer.

One of the guys here has a web site with the Explorer swap. It is the same axle but the center is slightly offset.

As I see it... If you find a late model low mileage axle with disk brakes it will be much cheaper than rebulding an 8 incher with gears, traction lock etc.

Sure you have to drop the axle to change gears but really! How often do you need to do that? It is lighter than a 9 inch and almost as strong. Guys are running 10s with this axle!
