Anyone have any info about final drive gear ratios in 65-66 mustangs, as in what different ratios were offered, how many were produced, what ones came with what code (A, K, etc.) cars? Also, I heard they generally put higher gears in standard transmission cars and lower in automatics. Is that true? Thanks for any info you may have!

The rear end was an option, you could get whatever you wanted. Normally, if you didn't order it specifically, you got something that was typical for a particular motor (i.e., a 6 cylinder car didn't come with a 3.50:1). You can find a list of options at the main website here: www.vintage-mustang.com/topics/decode/decode.html.
