I am in the process of replacing the inner rockers, rear frame rails and quarter panels. Should I put the rear springs and rearend in before I fit the new quarters? My car is a 65 vert.I ask this because the new quarter fits nicely with the the tail light panel slightly raised. I have the manual that shows the Dimensions diagonal and so forth. I am concerned that when the springs are on the weight of the car will distort the new quarter panel. Any TIPS would be appreciated. Blake

The springs attach to the frame rails, and not to the quarters. I would raise the car up off the wheels, remove the tires, and fit the quarters then. It should make no difference if the springs are attached or not.
