I've read many of your posts regarding sealing the windows of your Mustang. All great advice and I will put it to use very soon. My stang leaks into the trunk. Not a spot of rust and I have a new gasket. (Virginia Mustang seems to have the best one.) I used the black sticky stuff (is this the same as the glazing and beading compound?) and it leaks like crazy now...even at the top of the rubber onto the back seat! I have been told that you need to take out all of the clips and run a small bead of sealant on the screw and then install the clip, as water can run into the channel on the clip. Any thoughts? I read on another post to use the beading compound at a 45 degree angle and push so as not to bend the tip (not as easy as it sounds). I tried to put the sealant on BEFORE installing the window. Any other advice is greatly appreciated.
