hey guys when u have a engine rebuilt and you keep the heads that you had on from before do they put new spring rocker arms and all that stuff on to or is it just pistons rings boring etc?????

That's up to you...a shop will do whatever you like...

Most likely, they'll do a valve job and assemble the heads with new valves, springs, retainers and keepers....

Rocker arms and studs and pushrods often are re-usable but should be checked nonetheless...

If you have virgin heads, they may also install hard seats to add longevity to the valve job with todays unleaded fuels...

The best thing for you to do is read up on engine rebuilding and tell them what you want...

Yelp, Camachinist is right. You should be ready to tell them what you want in the rebuild. They really need to know what the engine is gonna be used as.

a cam makes a car like kinda stumble or rumble a little more right liek sound diferent so what do i need to look for in a cam to get that sound?
