go down to your local ford dealer and buy a brand new 5.0 block for $200.00. My friend just went and got one, of course, you'll have to build it yourself, but I am willing to bet that taking that route will put you ahead in terms of money saved.
remanufactured engines from large rebuilders may have mis-matched cylinders/crank bearing specs. One cylinder may be .30 and the next three .10. Same for crank bearing journals. Whatever it takes to get it out the door. No way of knowing. Go with a crate motor.
