I painted my undercarriage with DP74LF Red Oxide today, and it came out pretty good considering I did it on my back and stomach (no rotisserrie). I did notice a few areas that did not get covered real well...not bad, but you can see it. There's grey primer underneath (courtesy of PO) so it's not a corrosion problem...just cosmetic.

I don't really want to get another quart of the red oxide...it's expensive...so I was wondering how close to the DP74LF the red oxide in the aerosol can is.

Has anyone used the red oxide in the aerosol cans?

I appreciate any comments or suggestions.

Thanks.
