This may also pertain to other years, but at some time in the past I read a thread somewhere that described how and where to get the parts needed to actually install a cable operated hood latch on a 70 mustang. It's been a while back and I can't remember the particulars. It was from a car like an Explorer or something. If anyone remembers this or knows what is required to have this cable hood latch for classic mustangs, please update me on it. I'm thinking about it and I have about 5 other people that would be interested in knowing how it's done.

Thanks and all my best.

The 78 - 79 Ford F150/Bronco with the locking hood option are a bolt in swap in a 70 Stang. They also have a lock on the interior pull handle so make sure you get the key with the unit you find.
