I am looking for a new set of doors for my 65' convertible project.
Ponderosa Mustang is running a special of $250 for a complete new door shell.
I also have a lead on a rust free pair of door shells in primer for $295 each.

Does anyone have experience with the new repo door shells? Are the high quality? Do they fit right? Or are they just junk?
Would I be better off just paying the extra amount for the original primered shells?

Opinions please... I need to make a decision either way soon.

Thanks all.

You would better off using the original doors. But I would check the originals real good if you can. Some times people put primer on parts to hide stuff like rust.Repo parts are made of thinner metal than the original and sometimes harder to fit right.

Spend the $$ on the originals - but make sure they are as good as promised.

In my experience the repro door just don't fit ! Dickson
