Well I am replacing the front inner fenders on both sides and was wondering what to do about the VIN. Do I cut it out and butt weld it in? Can I get it stamped into the repro panel? I'm at a loss here. I'd also like to comment on my excellent results with mustangsunlimited the parts are all here and on time everything looks great. Thanks for any help in advance. By the way who was it that had their bodywork documented online (floors, torque boxes, quarters, engine compartment)

I had mine cut out and welded into the new panel, then had the edges leaded and filed down, can't tell it was replaced.
