Hi all, first time post here.

I have a 66 fastback that needs full quarters and wheel houses. How are the most recent offerings for fit and finish? When I bought this car 18 years ago, they were really crummy. Have things changed yet?

I installed quarter skins 12 years ago, and again a few years ago, and I'd say they haven't changed significantly. I've never had to install full quarters, as my repairs were only for rust.

I didn't have any real difficulty with the skins though. It's bodywork, expect to hammer to fit, fill to finish.

I have a 65 Fastback that is in the bodyshop
right now getting the quarters and wheel houses
replaced. The repro full quarters (two piece) look
much better than the skins, they have sharper corners.
It does take some extra work however to fit them on
the car and we were amazed of the difference between
the LH and RH panels. They look great before you try
to fit them on, I am glad I have a Mustang specialist
doing it for me, he has experience from others and
knows what to do to make it right!
