That first poster had some big words in there, I needed to pull out my dictionary to understand him! Great to see they like our cars, maybe we should lay off the rice-burner criticisms a while /forums/images/icons/wink.gif, what do you think? Each to their own./forums/images/icons/smile.gif

The other day I saw the baddest Honda I've ever seen...... Dude, was it KEWL..... It was a lowered 99 Civic painted a kustom electric pea. Big ole coffee can exhaust....On acceleration it sounded like an overrevved dishwasher......and don't forget the wide offset chrome rims and the pink neon licenseplate border..... It was so SHIVE I almost made my Mom run off the road with all my yellin'.......
I can't wait until I get my driver's license next year....I'll get me one of them bad mobiles and ALL the chix will be after me
It was a Numba 1 stunna, my man.........

"I'm not really a Ricer, but I play one on the internet....."

In all honesty I've spent most every evening over the last 6 months infiltrating a local gang of Speed Ricers - all in hopes of stealing all of their go-fast secrets so I can share them with the VMF.......hahaha glory will be mineeeeeee.....Dickson

Most of those club si guys are morons anyway. I'm really surprised they were so complimentary of any Mustang. The folks on the Honda hybrid board are always making fun of the club si guys. BTW the hybrid board is excellent, very tech heavy on REAL hot rod stuff like swapping cylinder heads, building strokers, installing power adders and putting all in lighter bodies. Sound familiar to anyone?

I hate to tell you dickson, but their go-fast secrets are no different than ours. Bulid lots of horsepower and stick it in a light car. I built a stroker Acura engine for my brother-in-laws '87 CRX and I was amazed at how quick that little car is.It should be a lot quicker once we put some performance cams and a header on. The car runs 13.3's in the quarter @ 98 MPH. However, he had to spend $3800 on the engine alone to go that fast. I once had a '70 Dodge Dart with a 440 shoehorned in that went that fast and the whole car only cost me half of what he has in the engine:)

Every day is a holiday if you love your job.

Hmmmm racerX just what is that thing that you are standing in front of?

Concerning this post: we should all be ashamed of ourselves. Here we go making fun of ricers and their coffee cans while they RESPECT our thang.

Guys, Guys, I was only joking......I thought it was kind of obvious but perhaps not. Sorry - did not mean to offend anyone.

Perhaps at the ripe old age of 34 I've already become an old fart, or just closed-minded. I'll try not to be too much of either.

Anyway, it really was just a joke. ( I don't usually use expressions like "shive" or even "kewl") - I just wanted to give the forum a laugh....Dickson
