What product did you use to fill the cracks and gaps? Would powder coat after filling with some kind of epoxy be viable?

How have you fixed those cracks ? Which paint have you used ?
I have same issue with cracks in that central part of wheel. Finally I gave it to a guy who specialize in plastic welding.

I did use Araldite, but not the one in the pic. I used the original version of the Araldite two part epoxy. Its slow setting, but adheres better and stronger. I used that for the worst of the filling, and got it down into any deep cracks, down to the metal.
I then tried Loctite epoxy putty for the final filling, but it was too difficult to use. I instead opted for an easy-sand flexible car body filler. It took about 4 layers of fill, rub down and primer, to get it to an acceptable stage.
I then painted with two coats of Plasticoat (I think) spray paint.

Looks nice, new, and is probably a way better match than the reproductions (which I refuse to buy because they refuse to get the colors right) !
