It really depends on how the Hookers fit the floor pan and what car, engine, trans, and overall clearance you have to begin with.. My Hooker Comp. headers are real snug to the body on. my '66

I have about 3" of clearance. I have a 289 with mag flow x pipe exhaust 2.5 inch pipes most of the time it ok but when I hit some of the dips in vermont roads and see sparks flying out the back just doent loo right. glad for no gas leaks

That really depends on the engine. I have patriot long tubes (not tri-y) that have plenty of ground clearance and they support my 380 horse engine very nicely. Super comps are really not necessary unless you are running a serious engine.

would thy be quiter than the super comp headers?
Loudness is more a function of the mufflers, not the headers.

FPA headers have good ground clearance.
